Sep 17, 2013, 6:56 am

It was moving day in Week 3 of the Temple Shalom Fall Softball League.  The Banta Express continued their perfect ways and the Garber Riverdogs and Roth Indians both swept their way back into contention.  Three teams (Rakofsky Red Sox, Miller Yankees and Zane Reds - all three were swept this week) are posed for early elimination.  One of the five 3-3 teams are destined to join them (Casper Knights, Reed Rockies, Buhrow Phillies, Garber Riverdogs and Roth Indians) unless the 4-2 Conn Tigers and/or Farin Rangers falter down the stretch.  After an off-week, games resume on September 29th.

Banta Express Roll Through Week Two Undefeated
Sep 10, 2013, 7:39 pm

After two weeks of the Temple Shalom Fall Softball League, only the hard-hitting Banta Express are left unbeaten.  All teams have tasted victory at least once - with five them having done it only that one time.  Each of those five teams face the real prospect of being one of the four teams which will be denied entry into the Playoff Tournament.

With the Playoffs being pushed back into November under the recently revised schedule, anything can still (and probably will) happen.

Schedule Update
Sep 9, 2013, 10:11 am

The games previously listed on Sep. 22nd have been moved to Oct. 27th.  Playoffs will probably be Nov. 3rd and 17th.

Express, Athletics & Tigers Break From the Gate Undefeated
Aug 27, 2013, 12:45 am

After Week One of the Temple Shalom Softball League's Fall Season, the Express, Athletics & Tigers are looking down on the pack as each swept their Opening Day's games.  With only the top 8 teams qualifying for the Playoffs, the Red Sox, Indians and Phillies are early candidates for elimination based on their double-dip defeats.  The other half of the teams in the League are all on the bubble at 1-1.

With a dozen games to go before the Playoffs start, the regular season will resume after the Labor Day break.
